Karnataka government's big decision, will give Rs5000 to plasma donors

Bengaluru: Corona's havoc in the country is increasing. Corona infection is also spreading rapidly in Karnataka. The Government of Karnataka said on Wednesday that those who have been free from corona infection and want to donate plasma for the treatment of corona patients the state government will give them an incentive of Rs 5,000.

Dr K.K. Sudhakar said that so far 17,390 people have been relieved of corona in Karnataka, out of which 4,992 patients are from Bangalore. However, people who have been relieved of the corona have appealed to donate their plasma. In this regard, Dr K. Sudhakar said that please do not take it otherwise. We have decided to give an incentive of Rs 5,000 to the donor. He said that kindly go ahead and donate plasma and help corona patients recover.

When asked whether plasma therapy has been done in Karnataka. Sudhakar said that five of the infected were treated with this method, three of them were cured while two others lost their lives. Dr Sudhakar said that we have information that plasma therapy has proved to be successful to a great extent on patients with corona. Therefore, the government has issued an order to give 5,000 rupees incentive.
