Bengaluru: The crisis of the JDS-Congress government in Karnataka's power is constantly deepening. On Monday, the Congress quota ministers met with Deputy Chief Minister Eshwar on a nag. According to news agency ANI, 21 cabinet ministers from Congress quota have resigned from their posts. Addressing the press, Congress Legislature Party leader and former CM Siddaramaiah said, "21 Congress ministers have resigned at their will."

After 11 Congress-JDS MLAs resigned from the Assembly on June 6, the government is in a state of crisis. As a result, CM H D Kumaraswamy, who is on a visit to the US, had to return to Bengaluru on Sunday evening. As a result, the strength of the ruling coalition in the 225-member assembly will remain 105 in the 225-member assembly if these resignations are approved, while a magic figure of 113 votes is needed for the majority. The 10 rebel MLAs are staying at the Sophitale Hotel in Mumbai and are adamant on their stand.

With this, independent MLA H Nagesh on Monday withdrew support from the Kumaraswamy government and resigned as minister. He was scheduled to attend a breakfast meeting convened by all the ministers this morning, but instead he went to Raj Bhavan and resigned and left his personal car. He also said in his resignation that he will support the BJP government if it comes to power.
