Bengaluru: A Shivram Hebbar, labour minister in karnataka's B S Yeddyurappa-led government, today said he and his wife tested positive for coronavirus. However, due to no symptoms, both will continue to be treated at home. CM BS Yeddyurappa has wished and prayed for the speedy recovery of 63-year-old senior leader Hebbar.
Yeddyurappa said that Hebbar should be healthy as soon as possible so that he can continue his good work. Earlier, Hebbar tweeted, "My wife and her wife have been tested for coronavirus. We have both been found to be infected with coronavirus. We have no symptoms of coronavirus in our body, so we have decided to have a home isolate on the instructions of doctors. We are healing at home," he said.
Labour Minister Shivram Hebbar has expressed hope that he and his wife will soon be healthy. Yeddyurappa, Forest Minister Anand Singh, Tourism Minister C T Ravi, Health Minister Sriramulu, leader of the opposition and former CM Siddarmaya and PCC chief D K Shivkumar tested positive for coronavirus before Hebbar, but they have all been healthy.
