BANGALORE: Basavaraj Bommai, the Chief Minister of Krnataka  on Tuesday said that a lesson on late actor Puneeth Rajkumar will be included in the school curriculum.

Bommai said, certain sections want the lesson on Puneeth Rajkumar's accomplishments to be included. "We will do whatever is possible.  Puneeth Rajkumar had done yeomen job in terms of humanitarian work," Bommai said. "The fact that Puneeth Rajkumar donated his organs says a lot about the kind of person he was. Many more people have stepped forward to offer their eyes since his passing, "He said.

"Puneeth Rajkumar accomplished inspiring labour and service throughout his brief life. We will do everything we can to spread his message "declared the chief minister. He added that his administration would introduce legislation to make Kannada "obligatory" in the state during the state assembly's winter session.

At a very young age, Puneet won a national prize and rose to fame. He also performed several social services and served as a role model for other famous people.

The government was urged to include a chapter on Puneeth's life in the textbook for fourth- or fifth-graders in letters from numerous charitable organisations and individuals to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Education Department.

The actor was supporting more than 4,800 youngsters from the economically disadvantaged areas by maintaining 26 orphanages, 19 goshalas, and 16 old-age homes. N.R. Ramesh, the BJP district president for Bengaluru South, had also written to the education minister to request that Puneeth's life narrative be covered in the curriculum.
On October 29th of last year, Puneeth passed away following a severe heart attack. His wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and two daughters predeceased him. His most recent film, "James," debuted to rave reviews at the box office on March 17.

The late actor's charitable endeavours, which were only made public after his passing, were praised by the whole film industry and citizens of the entire nation.
