BENGALURU: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday that Karnataka is making quick progress and will soon carve out a position for itself in the globe under Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai's leadership.

Rajnath Singh lauded Bommai as a capable and committed Chief Minister as he inaugurated the Flight Control System (FCS) complex of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) here. The Defence Minister also praised Bommai's cooperation in establishing the FCS in just 45 days.

"Karnataka, especially its capital Bengaluru, have always had a special place in my heart. The state resembles a large banyan tree. As it expands, its roots become deeper, preserving its heritage and culture. It is shooting for the stars as a modern technological centre "According to Rajnath Singh.

Singh praised the DRDO and the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) for completing the FCS complex in just 45 days, calling it nothing short of a miracle.
