Bengaluru: The Karnataka state Waqf board has issued a circular on loudspeakers ringing at shrines and mosques to curb noise pollution. In fact, according to this circular, loudspeakers will not be used in mosques from 10 am to 6 pm. In addition, instructions have been issued to keep the loudspeaker sound speed in the day as per the standards of air quality standard. The loudspeaker should be used to announce the necessary information, which has been said.

The directive also said that the speaker in the mosque premises will be used during Salat, Juma Kutaba, and other religious events. high-volume firecrackers can not be used in the vicinity of the mosque or in the mosque. It has also been said to have a sound system with advice from the environment officer. The directive also seeks to impart training to Muazzin inside the mosque for the use of amplifiers.

It has also been said that fruit-bearing and shady trees should be planted at vacant places in Dargah and mosques and if possible, water tanks should also be installed for animal birds at these places. It has also been asked to pay special attention to cleanliness. In addition, instead of begging with advice to avoid promoting beggars at religious places, they have been asked to encourage counseling and humanitarian work of these people.
