Mysore: The Corona epidemic has caused a worldwide outcry, with Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa convening a meeting at his residence today to discuss the situation of corona in the state among the growing numbers of coronavirus cases. In this meeting, the State Health Minister, Dr. K. Sudhakar, and other senior officers are present. In fact, a record 14,738 infected cases were registered in Karnataka in the last 24 hours. Out of which 10 thousand cases were from Bangalore only, 66 patients have also died in the state.

On the other hand, concerned over the rising pace of corona, the state government has convened an all-party meeting today to discuss a plan to prevent the spread of corona. In the meantime, the Health Minister of Karnataka. Sudhakar has asked all private hospitals in the state to reserve 50 percent of beds for corona patients. He said strict action will be taken against the hospital if the private hospital does not comply with his order.

CM BS Yeddyurappa said stringent steps will be taken to reduce the pace of infection. At present, curfew has been imposed in some cities of the state from 10 pm to 5 am and it will be implemented in other cities as and when required. In addition, for the first time in the country, the corona has crossed 2.16 lakh cases in the last 24 hours. The number of patients who are now infected is has become more than 1.42 crores. At present, the number of active cases in the country is more than 15 lakhs.
