Recently, Kartik shared a video in which the actress has also spoken about her mother Mala Tiwari suffering from breast cancer and winning the battle with it. This video is from Mumbai's hospital Nanavati. In fact, the hospital had organized an event under the awareness campaign due to the National Cancer Awareness Month, in which Kartik Aaryan also joined his mother.

Sharing the video, Kartik said, "From going to chemotherapy sessions while shooting for these songs to dancing on stage now this - the journey has been tough! But her positivity, perseverance and fearlessness kept us going. Today I can proudly say: My mother fought and won the battle against cancer. We are all strong for that. I am very proud of you Mother and I pay my respects to all those who could not win it and to all those who have shown the courage to fight this disease.
