Jammu: In the last few days, there has been a huge reduction in terrorist attacks in the valley. The separatist leaders who instigated people in the name of freedom have also started searching for their new path. The youth are connecting themselves to the new future of Kashmir. In the last one year, security forces have waged a dangerous war on terror in Jammu and Kashmir. After August 5, more than 180 terrorists including the bosses of various Tanjim were killed in the last one year. Pakistan-sponsored panic in the valley has almost broken.

In the last one year, there has been a lot of reduction in terrorist attacks. Many big gangsters and terrorists were killed after August 5, 2019. Heaping of Hizbul Mujahideen's infamous terrorist Riyaz Naiku in an encounter in Pulwama city is considered as the biggest achievement of the security forces. Subsequently, Junaid Sehrai, son of Naiku's close and separatist Ashraf Sehrai, including Hizbul's other major terrorists Omar Fayyaz alias Hamad Khan, Jahangir, Wasim Ahmed Wani, and Masood Bhat were also killed.

Meanwhile, 25 terrorists and more than 300 assistants have been taken into custody. After the removal of Article 370, there has not been a big reduction in terrorist attacks in the valley, but the law and order situation has also improved to a great extent. Recently, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has sent a report to this effect to the Union Home Ministry. According to sources, the report notes that in the six months following the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani on July 8, 2016, around 2500 violent incidents took place, and 117 civilians were killed. After the withdrawal of the special status of the state on August 5, 2019, there were 196 violent incidents, but not a single death occurred in them. There has been a lot of change in the new Jammu and Kashmir.
