Titanic actress Kate Winslet recently spoke to the New York Times and git candid about her personal life in the rare chat. The Mare of Easttown star, 45, got candid about her husband Edward Abel Smith, who she’s been married to for the past 9 years and shares a 7-year-old son Blaze. During the chat, Kate wasn't shy to call husband Abel “the superhot, superhuman, stay-at-home dad.” “He looks after us, especially me. I said to him earlier, like, ‘Neddy, could you do something for me?’ He just went, ‘Anything.’ He is an absolutely extraordinary life partner,” she continued.

“I’m so, so, so lucky. For a man who is severely dyslexic, as he is, he’s great at testing me on lines. It’s so hard for him to read out loud, but he still does it,” adding that he “didn’t particularly plan on meeting and marrying a woman who is in the public eye and therefore having been so judged” but that he handles it well. “He’s vegan, does yoga, breathwork and cold water swims,” she said of Abel. If you didn't know Edward Abel Smith changed his name in 2019, his former one being Ned Rocknroll.

In other news, Kate has been in the news for her hit show Mare of Easttown, which is now available to watch on Hotstar. The series, which is already in talks for another season follows Kate--a detective from Pennsylvania who tries her best to prevent her life from falling apart while investigating a mysterious murder.
