Shikha is currently serving as a nurse at Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Hospital Mumbai, and while talking to a website about this, Shikha gave the reason behind this. She had said this in the past - 'When I heard PM Modi announcing the 21-day lockdown, I could not sit at home. If I am from medical ground, then I can understand the seriousness of this time. I started going to hospitals in Mumbai from the very next day. I was guided by a medical superintendent and taken care of the isolation ward of Kovid 19 as there was a need for a nurse.

Along with this, let us also tell you that before acting, Shikha did a nursing course from Vardhman Mahaveer Medical College and Safdarganj Hospital in New Delhi in 2014, but due to acting she could not complete nursing practice. Now at the same time, seeing the situation in the country, Shikha has decided to serve the patients as a volunteer nurse due to the rising outbreak of Coronavirus and she is fulfilling it.
