After Priyanka Chopra walking out of Salman Khan starrer Bharat, everybody was keen to know, who would be the next lady to get on board with the movie. Well, as per the expectations of most of us, Katrina Kaif has joined the Bharat team.
Katrina Kaif, Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan have already proved a good enough trio after the success of Tiger Zinda Hai. The three have joined hands once again for this upcoming venture.
After Priyanka’s decision to leave the movie, it was being speculated that either Jacqueline or Katrina could be offered the part. Well, the director of the movie, Ali Abbas Zafar, recently confirmed the news of Katrina playing the female protagonist of the movie. In an alleged interview, Ali asserted, "I am extremely excited to work with Katrina and Salman again. We have had exciting collaborations in the past. Katrina got on board in the Nick of time for this project,"
Previously he had tweeted, "Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life."
This surely is a great news for the fans of Salman and Katrina. It is always a treat to see the duo together.
