New Delhi: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today held a bilateral meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermabayev. Union Minister Rajnath Singh honored Nurlan Yerekbayev with the Guard of Honor at Vigyan Bhawan. The Defense Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev, is on an official visit to India.

During his visit from 7-10 April, the Defense Minister reached Jodhpur two days ago and from there he went to Jaisalmer, New Delhi, and Agra, where he attended various meetings and also visited various defense establishments. Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev discussed increasing bilateral defense cooperation with the delegation during his visits to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. The defense ministers of the two countries also discussed the issue of dealing with the threat of international terrorism and maintaining peace.

Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev attended a bilateral meeting with Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today. Let me tell you that this is his first meeting with the Defense Minister of any other country since Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev became the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan again.
