UTTARAKHAND: All preparations have been completed for Kedarnath helicopter service in Chardham Yatra.   Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will open online heli ticket reservations on April 8 at noon, however registration for the Chardham Yatra will be required before heli ticket reservations can be made. Booking tickets won't be possible without registering. 12 seats can be reserved if travelling in a group, and 6 seats can be reserved from one email ID at a time. Only twice on one IP will be able to book tickets during the duration of the trip.

Char Dham Yatra 2023 is begenning from 22 April. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 25 April.  Kedarnath Heli Service preparations have been finished by the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA). helicopter service will be operated through nine companies from Guptkashi, Sirsi and Phata. IRCTC is now offering heli ticket buying online for the first time.

Through IRCTC's website, www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in, you may book heli service tickets. First, a login ID needs to be made for this. The passenger must enter the date of trip and slot time after choosing the heli operator firm. Along with this, the number and information of passengers traveling will have to be given. OTP will get on the registered mobile number once this process is finished. After entering the OTP and making the required online payment, the ticket will be booked.

For boarding, passengers will need to present ID in addition to their ticket. Any official government identification, such as an Aadhaar card, a Pan card, a passport, a driver's licence, or a voter ID card, must be presented.

Tickets for the Kedarnath heli service's initial booking period will be available from April 25 to April 30; bookings for May 1 will not be accepted at this time. The second phase's booking window will then become available following this.
