Kanpur: The Shraddha murder case in the national capital Delhi has shaken the entire country. Like this murder, a conspiracy was hatched in Kanpur. In Kanpur, a man threatened to cut his own 300 pieces to extort money from his father. He pretended to be kidnapped and sent a message to his father on WhatsApp and threatened him by demanding a ransom of Rs 30 lakh.
In the message sent on WhatsApp, it is written - If you do not give money, then your son will be cut into three hundred pieces. On the information of the father, when the police started their investigation, the whole matter was revealed. The police have now arrested the son. Chandrakant Tiwari, a resident of Damodar Nagar in Barra in Kanpur, received a message on WhatsApp that his son has been kidnapped, prepare to pay 30 lakh ransom, and if the ransom is not paid, his son will be cut into 300 pieces. The message came on November 14. The father immediately informed the police.
Chandrakant Tiwari's son Somnath Tiwari is working as an irrigational in the irrigation department. He had gone for his duty in the morning on November 13 and did not return. On November 14 evening, Chandrakant Tiwari, his wife and daughter-in-law received a WhatsApp message on their phones. It was written that if you want to save your son, then keep 30 lakhs ready by 4:00 pm tomorrow and if you tell the police or anyone, they will cut your son into 300 pieces. DCP South Pramod Kumar deployed teams in connection with the incident. During the investigation, it was found that the three phones of the young man were also switched off, so the surveillance team became active. Within 24 hours, it was revealed that Somnath Tiwari himself staged his abduction. For this, he stayed at Hotel Tejas at Ghantaghar and sent the photo held hostage from there to the family members. Somnath was drunk after staying in the hotel. Police have grabbed Somnath safely. Police said that now Somnath will be arrested and legal action will be taken.
