Nagpur: The matter of banning the feeding of dogs in public in Maharashtra's Nagpur has reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court stayed this decision of the Bombay High Court. According to the order of the Supreme Court, now there will be no ban on feeding dogs in public places. The Supreme Court said that there will be no coercive action for feeding dogs in public places.

Due to the hearing, the Supreme Court also banned the observations of the High Court in which it was said that people who feed stray dogs should adopt them and take them home and also get vaccinated. The court also directed the Nagpur Municipal Corporation to take steps to feed stray dogs at suitable places identified for the general public. Due to the hearing, the Supreme Court said that every place has its own problems. The problem of stray dogs is everywhere. During the hearing, an advocate told the Supreme Court that stray dogs also enter the RK Garg block of the Supreme Court premises. Have also bitten many lawyers, clients and other people. We are scared too.

Due to the problem of dogs, the Noida Authority has also made strict rules. The problem here is not the stray dogs but the pet dogs living in society. Noida Authority has made rules regarding this. According to these rules, from March 1 next year, if a pet attacks someone in Noida, the owner will have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000. Apart from this, the responsibility for the treatment of the injured person will also have to be taken. Along with this, the authority has also made it mandatory to register pet dogs/cats. If someone does not do this, he will also be fined. Along with this, it will be mandatory to vaccinate the animals and there is a provision of fine for negligence in this too.
