International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21 June 2022. This time the theme of Yoga Day has been kept yoga for humanity. The practise of yoga should be included in every person's daily routine. Which has many benefits. With today's busy lifestyle, every person started suffering from mental stress. For which self-reflection is necessary. Which will not only give us mental peace but also keep us healthy.
Start yoga with meditation: Any yoga asana should start with meditation. This concentrates the mind and you are going to get to see the good results of yogasana. You have to focus on your breathing. After that, om or any mantra will have to be recited.
Skanda Shakti Vikasaka Kriya: While standing, raise both hands upwards while breathing. Take it straight. Both palms are curved outwards. They don't have to mix with each other. Now bring your hands down while exhaling. Repeat this process. Now place both hands on the shoulder while bending and rotating the clockwise and anti-clockwise while breathing.
Titli asana: Titli asana is especially beneficial for women. To do the butterfly asana, sit down with the legs stretched out in front, the spine has to be kept straight. Bend the knees and move both legs to the pelvis. Hold both your feet tightly with both hands. You can put your hands under your feet for support. Try to bring the heel as close to the genitals as possible. Take a long, deep breath, exhale and press the thighs towards the ground. Start moving both legs up and down like butterfly wings. Accelerate slowly. Breathe in and start breathing out.
