New Delhi: The AAP government of Delhi advertised in newspapers for the recruitment of volunteers for the 'Civil Defense Corps'. It depicts Sikkim as a separate country with Nepal and Bhutan. Sikkim Chief Secretary SC Gupta has raised objection to this. He objected to this attitude of the Delhi government in a letter and wrote that it is painful. Even Sikkim's CM Prem Singh Tamang has also raised this objection by tweeting and asked to improve immediately.

On May 16, 1975, Sikkim became the 22nd state of the Indian Republic. Gupta, an IAS officer, also attached a copy of the advertisement given by the Kejriwal government of Delhi and forwarded it to the Chief Secretary of Delhi.
