In view of the Uttarakhand elections, Kejriwal has given 4 guarantees on the issue of electricity for the people taking it there. At the same time, he hit out at the BJP government.

In Dehradun, Chief Minister Kejriwal said that:

The first guarantee: is that every family will get free electricity up to 300 units when the government is formed in Uttarakhand on the lines of Delhi.
Second guarantee: Wrong electricity bill means old electricity bills will be waived.
Third Guarantee: Like Delhi, power cuts will not be allowed in Uttarakhand.
Fourth Guarantee: Free electricity will be provided to the Annadatas of Uttarakhand.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who arrived in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, announced 300 units of free power every month. Kejriwal said, "The ruling party has not only the Chief Minister, but his party itself says that our Chief Minister is bad, the BJP is fighting the Chief Minister.'' Kejriwal further said, ''The Opposition does not have a leader, he is busy doing the rounds of Delhi, who will think about the development of Uttarakhand?'' Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Uttarakhand generates electricity and sells it to other states, why did no one think of free electricity to the people here? Because he is in the throes of his power.
