New Delhi: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced that 180 students who have returned from Ukraine will be flown down from Delhi on an Air Asia flight scheduled to depart at 4 p.m. today.
CM Vijayan said on Twitter, "The Kerala government will fly 180 students from Delhi to Kochi in a @AirAsiaIndia chartered flight at 4 p.m. We are ensuring that all Keralites who have been repatriated from Ukraine arrive safely. Those who have not yet done so should contact @Norka Roots."
The ministry announced on Tuesday that 36 students from Kerala arrived from Ukraine on Monday evening, with 25 heading to Kochi and the rest to Thiruvananthapuram.
"Kerala students update: Among 36 students who came from Ukraine to Delhi yesterday evening, 25 left for Kochi by Vistara UK 883 at 5.35 (arrival 8.45) and 11 left for Trivandrum by Vistara UK 895 at 8.10 (arrival 11.25)," the Kerala government tweeted on Tuesday. 'Operation Ganga' was used to bring these students back.
