Kochi: The black box of the Air India Express flight which was the victim of an accident on August 7 at Kozhikode Airport in Kerala, was brought to the country's capital Delhi and kept in the lab of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for examination. While landing an Air India Express plane at Karipur Airport in Kozhikode, Kerala, it slipped and fell into a ditch of twenty five feet. The accident was so severe that the plane split into two. 18 people, including 2 pilots lost their lives in the accident. The airplane had 191 passengers.

On giving information, DGCA Director General Arun Kumar stated, "We will soon have all the copies from the recovered black box. We are talking to Boeing to check the original equipment of the plane and check for defects. Intensive and Only after conducting a fair investigation can we tell what actually happened on the plane. "

Arun Kumar said, 'Since it is an international airport, international aviation agencies are helping us in the investigation'. He informed that some international air operations have already started.
