Kerela Plane Crash: Co-pilot Akhilesh spoke to his mother a few hours before boarding the plane

Agra: Air India aircraft met with an accident yesterday at Karipur Airport. Pilot Akhilesh Sharma was a resident of Mathura, he fell victim to the accident in Kozhikode, Kerala. Late night, when the accident was reported to the relatives, there was chaos. On the information of the incident, two younger brothers left for the spot.

Akhilesh (33), resident of Potra Kund Govind Nagar joined Air India in 2017. Co-Pilot Akhilesh was the eldest of three brothers. His younger brother Lokesh told that information about the incident was given by Air India late at night. Brother Bhuvanesh left for the accident location at night with his brother-in-law Sanjeev. Family members said that every day before boarding an aeroplane, Akhilesh used to talk to his family on the phone. Yesterday, before leaving for Kerala, he had discussed on phone with his mother Baladevi and asked her to take care of herself. On 21 August, he was to come to his residence. 

Akhilesh was married to Megha of Dholpur about one and a half years ago. So far, the mother and wife have not been informed by their relatives about Akhilesh's death. On the other hand, father Tulsiram Sharma is old and remains unwell.
