Kochi: A case of rape of a 13-year-old minor girl in Kerala has come to light. Where the maulvi, who teaches in the madrasa, raped the girl. But when she became pregnant, the matter came to light. Following this, the accused madrasa teacher Sharaafuddin (27), a resident of Tamil Nadu, was arrested. The baby is two months pregnant.
According to the report, the incident of rape started from November 2021 last year. When Sharafuddin, who worked as an assistant in the madrasa, called the girl to the madrasa even before the regular class started and started raping her. Acting against the accused in the case, the police of Ernakulam Rural have arrested Sharaafuddin.
Let me tell you that Sharafuddin came to the madrasa at Vajakulam about seven years ago as an assistant. He lives in a rented room in the Pattimattam area. He has knowledge of the Malayalam language. During interrogation after being arrested in a rape case, he said that he has not yet been married. However, the accused has been remanded after being produced before the court.
