'Kesari' set in Wai, Maharashtra smashed

The ace Bollywood Khiladi, Akshay Kumar has been shooting for his upcoming war drama Kesari in the Wai district of Maharashtra. Yesterday, late night the sets have escaped a tragic incident after a fire broke out. While the reason behind the fire is still unknown and the police are investigating the real cause of the fire. The good news is that the whole cast and crew is safe.

Thankfully, everyone's favourite, Akshay had already left for the day before the major broke out. While the set designs of the movie have been massively destroyed. As there were only 10 days left for the wrap-up, we can think that this incident has been surly turned out to be a massive loss to the production team.

Meantime, Kesari movie is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. The movie is being helmed by Anurag Singh under Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions. It also stars Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role. Khiladi will be seen playing the role of a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havaldar Ishar Singh. The havaldar fought against thousands of Afghani invaders, as per Pinkvilla.
Kesari is slated to release during the Holi weekend in 2019.
