Yash starrer KGF having good run at box office despite the week saw the big release of Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba which resulted in the decrease of screens. KGF had released in 1500 screens in week one. It is now playing in 780 screens in its second week. The movie has had a good hold at the box office as it earned Rs 1.25 crore.

By collecting Rs 1.25 crore on its day 8, the film takes its 8-day total to a solid Rs 22.70 crore. Tweeting about KGF's  good collection report at the box office, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "Despite reduction in screens [780] and shows in Week 2, #KGF put up a healthy number on second Fri... Biz should escalate on second Sat and second Sun... [Week 2] Fri 1.25 cr. Total: ₹ 22.70 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version."

It’s all India business added that all versions of KGF has made more than Rs 100 crore at the box office.  While at the worldwide box office, the movie has collected more than Rs 120 crore. With the kind of hold it has shown on its day 8, KGF is likely to show good escalation on its second Saturday and second Sunday. By the end of its week two, if KGF maintains vice-like grip at the box office, it'll  cross Rs 150 crore mark.
