Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) is a Kannada language film directed by Prashanth Neel. The much-anticipated teaser of the Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ has left the audience wanting for more. While the trailer of the movie is yet to be unveiled, the makers will be announcing the release date of the second installment today.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Sanjay Dutt revealed that the “promise will be kept” and the release date will be officially announced today at 6.32 PM.

Along with the announcement poster, Dutt wrote, ‘The promise will be kept! Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the fierce role of Adheera in the film. The mega-star recently opened up about his role and shared his first reaction when the role of Adheera was offered to him. He reportedly said that it is after a long time that such a role was offered to him. He got elevated and excited for it. He added that the character is strong and charged him up to play the role. According to him, it was an immediate yes from him.

Apart from Yash and Sanjay Dutt, the movie will also star Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon in the lead role.
