Lucknow: KGMU doctors achieved great success in saving the life of a woman who reached a critical state after responding to her lungs in the country's state of Uttar Pradesh. The hemoglobin of the admitted patient in the institute also reached around 2, and even after being placed on the ventilator, the air could not reach the lungs. Meanwhile, Dr. Vipin Kumar Singh, Associate Professor of Trauma Ventilator Unit, decided to give prone ventilation (oxygen by lying on the stomach) to the patient.
His team was also shocked to see the same patient's condition. Success has been achieved after nearly 18 days of hard work. The whole team is very happy. The patient is ready to discharge after two days. In the team engaged in the treatment of the patient, Dr. Vipin Kumar Singh along with TVU in-charge Prof. GP Singh, Dr. Jia, Dr. Rahul, Dr. Prashanti, Dr. Pritruti, Dr. Asmita, Dr. Pragya, Staff Nurse, Amarendra, Anupam, Abhishek, Deepu.
Soni Gupta (25) of Bahraich was referred to Queen Mary Hospital from District Hospital. On 11 July, delivery occurred after surgery. The child died 24 hours later. Hemoglobin was around 2. After the corona report was negative, the patient was sent to the Trauma Ventilator Unit from Queen Mary. In addition, the patient has septic shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome. In such a state, oxygen does not reach the body, even after being on the ventilator, the lungs become very stiff, due to which the air from the ventilator does not reach the lungs. This success has been achieved after a lot of hard work by doctors.
