New Delhi: Rhea Chakraborty's petition in the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be heard in the apex court on August 5, in which three veteran lawyers will cross-examine. This petition will be heard by Judge Rishikesh Roy. In this case, Senior Advocate R.K. Basant will present his side on behalf of the Maharashtra government. Advocate R. Basant will face Vikas Singh, former head of the Supreme Court Bar Association, and Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi, a lawyer appearing for the Bihar government.
In this case, the Maharashtra government has also filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, stating that during the hearing on Rhea's petition, the Maharashtra government's side should also be heard and no one-sided order should be issued by the court on Rhea's petition. The Bihar government and Sushant Singh Rajput's father have also filed a caveat in this case.
In the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Rhea Chakraborty has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. It has demanded that the police action should be stopped on the basis of the FIR registered in Patna and the investigation should be shifted from Bihar to Mumbai, where the investigation is already going on in this case. The police of two places cannot investigate a case.
