Mumbai: Recently, senior Maharashtra BJP leader and former state minister Eknath Khadse openly expressed his displeasure on Saturday. He clearly said that if his neglect in BJP continues, he will consider other options. Khadse also said that he has given evidence of anti-party activities to the BJP leadership, due to which his daughter Rohini and many other candidates were defeated in the Maharashtra Assembly elections on October 21. Khadse met state president Chandrakant Patil here after the BJP's North Maharashtra Core Committee meeting. After this, while addressing the media, he said that it has been many years since he is being kept out of the meetings of the core committees and the judging committee of the party.

Khadse said, 'I am not saying this, but party workers are feeling like this. OBC and Bahujan Samaj leaders have made the party bigger by watering with hard work and blood. The party leadership should take appropriate steps keeping in mind the sentiments of the workers. I was maligned and all kinds of investigations were conducted. If I am guilty then take action, but I was deliberately maligned.' After the meeting, party president Patil said that he has assured Khadse that strict action will be taken against those who are guilty. It is noteworthy that Khadse was a senior minister in the government headed by Devendra Fadnavis in the year 2014, but had to resign after being accused of his family's involvement in land irregularities.
