Renowned automobile manufacturer Kia Motors has started booking the upcoming compact SUV Kia Sonet in India from today. You have to pay a token amount of just Rs 25,000 to book Sonet. According to the information, the sale of Sonet can be started from September 2020. Recently, details related to the variants, dimensions, engine and transmission of the Sonet have been revealed. So let's know what features this car will come with in India.

In this car, features have been given keeping Indian users in mind. According to the information, the company will offer Sonet in the market with both petrol and diesel engine options, which customers can choose according to their requirement. The company will introduce Sonet in two petrol and 2 diesel engine options in which the displacement of the petrol engine will be different, while the diesel engine will remain the same. Kia Sonet has been offered with 8 color options including Beige Gold, Intelligence Blue, Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Gray, Intense Red, Steel Silver and Clear White. Along with this, orange paint scheme can be given in the top trim of the Sonet and dual tone paint option in the mid-spec trim.

In this car, there will be an option of 2 petrol engines, in which the first is a 1.2-liter non-turbocharged engine, while the second is a 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit. The 1.2-liter engine is capable of generating maximum power of 84bhp and peak torque of 115Nm. Standard 5 speed manual transmission will be given with petrol engine. The top spec 1.0 liter engine will generate 119bhp power and 172Nm peak torque. This engine can be equipped with 7 speed DCT or 6 speed (iMT) intelligent manual transmission. A similar engine has also been given in Hyundai Venue.
