South Korea's legendary automobile manufacturer Kia Motors has today launched its popular car Kia Sonet globally. Kia Sonet will be the company's third car after Celtos and Carnival in India which will make its way into the compact SUV segment. The thing to note here is that the Kia Sonet will be a 'Made in India' car, and will be exported from India to other countries. Currently, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon are available in this segment.
Kia Sonat is going to be a connected car like Kia Celtos and Carnival. Which you can control through remote features and voice assistant. You can activate the car by saying 'Hey Kia'. Sonnet will primarily compete with the Hyundai Venue in India which has recently been updated with an IMT gearbox option.
The Kia Sonnet will feature features such as a 10.25-inch "touchscreen infotainment system, Bose's 7-speaker system, electric sunroof. Also, front ventilated seats, 55 UVO connected features, and smartwatches for remote functions, etc. The feature list of this car is very long. The Sonnet also has a choice of six airbags and 57 connected features, keeping the safety in mind.
The Hyundai Venue has a slightly lower feature list than the Kia Sonnet. -Digital instrument panel, eight-inch infotainment system, which is equipped with BlueLink connectivity. In the same vein, the sound system in the Venue, electric sunroof, automatic AC, wireless phone charger, driver rearview monitor, rear AC vent, rear parking sensor are also included.
