South actor Kichcha Sudeep remains in news not only for his upcoming project but also for a controversial statement he made. Recently the actor commented on the Hindi Language which raises a debate between Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn later on they sorted but now in his recent interview, he gave a statement on Bollywood's downfall.

The actor is currently promoting his upcoming film, Vikrant Rona. During the film's promotional event, he compared Bollywood films that didn't do well at the box office to cricketer Virat Kohli struggling with form. He also said that he doesn't want to "generalize" the success of south films as he believes that if Bollywood didn't have good work to offer, it wouldn't have lasted this long.

In a recent interview, Kichcha Sudeep said, “A lot of films are made in a year, not every film does well. A couple of films do, a couple of films don't. That doesn't mean that we generalize and say it (the industry) is dominating. There are good times for everything. If the Hindi film industry wasn't doing great films if it didn't have great people, how would you sustain for so many years.”

 He added, "It's just a matter of time. It's like Virat Kohli being out of form for a while. Are you going to take away his records? It doesn't work that way... Every industry is standing by its potential," the actor added.

The Bollywood film industry has been struggling at the ticket counter with many big-budget films such as this year except Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool  Bhuliya, various other big-budget films including Ranbir Kapoor's Shamshera, Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad and many others performing poorly at the box office. Meanwhile, movies from the south film industry like KGF Chapter 2, RRR, Pushpa, and Vikram have done exceptionally well at the box office. This gave birth to the debate on the success of regional cinema over Bollywood.
