Disclosing the incident, the police said that the child was kidnapped for Rs 15 lakh by two criminals who had kidnapped the child and the third criminal was staying in the village and conveying every news to the criminals.

On Monday, SP Rajesh Singh Chandel said that on December 25, complainant Ramjilal Yadav resident Bhavkhedi had come to the police station and lodged a complaint that Hariom, the 6-year-old son of my nephew Narendra Yadav, had been missing since 3 pm and there was no trace of him even after searching at every place. Then, at 4.26 p.m., a call came from 9109032328 stating that the child is with me. Keep the rupee ready. Understand if tried any cleverness. After that, the call was disconnected. The number was coming off when the complainant tried to contact again.

The police were immediately activated as the same was the kidnapping of the young child for ransom. The team cordoned off the entire area and all the officers and nearby police station in-charge and AD team, the cyber team rushed to the spot. When all the men cordoned off the area, the criminals panicked and left the child on the road in the village itself. When the child was asked by the police, he named a man from the village. When the same man was arrested and questioned, he said that a friend from the village and I had planned to kidnap the child two months ago to demand a ransom of 15 lakh rupees, but got the opportunity to kidnap the child on December 25. The criminals said that the child often came to play with his friend, which we had been monitoring for a long time.
