Cricket matches were stalled for the past several months due to Corona. But in the meantime, many statements have been coming from many players. The series played between India and Pakistan was considered as an Ashes series. There is a fierce competition between the two countries in the field. And due to this, sledging was also done. Former wicketkeeper of the Indian cricket team, Kiran More said in his statement that when he used to play, there was no mike in the stumps.

More shared some stories while remembering the series between India and Pakistan. He told that "If there were microphones everywhere on the field, all the players could enjoy the sledging done by us. Whenever there was a series between India and Pakistan, there was sledging. When we went to Pakistan in the year 1989, during the Karachi Test match, I sledge Salim Malik and he came to hit me with a bat. I saw him and I abused him in Punjabi because we both spoke the same language. And it used to be quite fun."

He further said, "I wish there were microphones at that time, it would have been very funny for everyone around the field." More then narrated an anecdote recounting the 100th Test match of Pakistan veteran batsman Javed Miandad. He told that when "Javed was playing his 100th Test match in Lahore. Maninder Singh was bowling and he came to bat. He was appealed to the leg against him in the third or fourth over. It was a very brilliant ball from Maninder. And he had to hit it near his knee. He said to me, "Oh why are you appealing, this is my 100th Test match, I will make a century and only then I will go home." All these things used to create a fantastic atmosphere in the field.
