Let us tell you that having won medals in Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and World Cup / World Championships (in Olympic and Asian Games) and Paralympic Games, they are eligible for lifetime monthly pension. The age limit for this is 30 years or retired from active sports, whatever. ' He further said that at present, 627 sportspersons are getting lifetime monthly pension from Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000 under this scheme.
