Khammam Municipal Corporation (KMC) polling is going on in Telangana due to security reason and for to maintain proper covid protocol 1700 police personnels are being deployed, Let us share that Commissioner of Police (CP), Vishnu S Warrier is taking charge to review over all assignments.
In a statement Vishnu S Warrier informed that a Police team officials led by nine ACPs deployed to maintain law and order and to ensure incident-free polling. Let us share here that in KMC six hyper sensitive polling stations, 17 sensitive and 50 general polling stations were set up. As many as 14 Circle Inspectors, 43 Sub Inspectors, 180 ASIs/ Head Constables, 792 Constables, 136 Women Constables / Home Guards, 349 Home Guards and 104 Armed Force Police and three platoons of TSSP would be on duty on polling day.
However , to be noted that the CP held an awareness meeting to explain dos and don’ts of the electoral procedures to the police personnel and officials here on Wednesday. Police should work in coordination with the local election officials to ensure that the elections take place in a peaceful atmosphere.
