BMW has launched its flagship sedan 2019 BMW 7 Series in India. The sedan had been waiting for a long time and has now been launched. The 7 series was introduced internationally in April 2019. The new lithium-ion battery is offered in THE BMW 745Le xDrive plug-in hybrid variant that generates 108 HP power 265Nm of torque. BMW TwinPower Turbo produces a 3-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine producing 286 hp of power and 450Nm of torque. The petrol engine produces 384 hp of power and 600Nm of torque. In terms of mileage, it delivers a mileage of 39.5 km/litre. The sedan can hold speeds of 0 to 100 kmph in 5.3 seconds and run at a maximum speed of 250 kmph. With battery power alone, the car can hold speeds of 140 kmph and the electric drive range is 53 km.

The BMW 730Ld comes with a 3-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 265 hp of power and 620Nm of torque. The sedan can hold speeds of 0 to 100 kmph in 6.2 seconds and run at a maximum speed of 250 kmph. The BMW 740Li is powered by a 3-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine with 340 HP and 450 Nm. Generates the torque. The sedan can hold speeds of 0 to 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds and run at a maximum speed of 250 kmph.

According to media reports, BMW's sedan for safety includes 6 airbags, atensivity assistance, dynamic stability control (DSC), including cornering brake control (CBC), electric parking with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), auto hold. Features such as brakes, side-effect protection, electronic vehicle immobilizers and crash sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounting and integrated emergency spare wheel are provided. The sedan has auto start-stop, ECO Pro mode, brake-energy regeneration, electronic power steering, 50:50 weight distribution, driving experience control switch, BMW gesture control, BMW display, wireless charging, wireless Apple carplay, Optional BMW head-up display, 12.3-inch digital instrument display, 10.25-inch control display, Herman Carden surround sound system, driver assistant, parking assistant plus with surround camera, reversing assistant, BMW remote control Features like parking are provided.

The M760Li xDrive variant sits at Rs 2.43 crore, the ex-showroom price of the 740Li DPE Signature variant is Rs 1.35 crore, the ex-showroom price of the 745Le xDrive variant is Rs 1.65 crore, the ex-showroom price of the 730LdE variant is Rs 1.22 crore. The ex-showroom price of the 730Ld DPE Signature variant is Rs 1.32 crore, the ex-showroom price of the 730Ld M Sport variant is priced at Rs 1.35 crore.
