Bhopal: Acharya Dhirendra Shastri, popularly known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, is in the news these days. For the devotees, he is Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, Bageshwar Maharaj. But he considers himself a servant of Hanuman ji. He is a disciple of Tulsipeethdheshwar Jagadguru Shri Rambhadracharya Swami. Opponents accuse him of spreading superstition. He describes his powers as the result of the meditation method, which he received from Dada Guru.

Pt Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh is a Katha Vachak. He claims that he can read minds. Videos of his Katha often go viral, in which he is seen doing so. As the popularity increased, Pt Dhirendra Shastri started getting calls for stories from different regions of the country. In one such Katha, he went to Nagpur. This Katha was to go on till January 13, but Shastri returned on January 11. There is an organization of Maharashtra - Maharashtra Blind faith Eradication Committee. Shyam Manav of this institution said- Dhirendra Shastri practices magic in the name of Shastri and promotes superstition. He also demanded the police to take action against Dhirendra Shastri. Maharashtra has a law to eradicate superstition, which provides action against those who spread superstition. The institution demanded action under this law. The committee also challenged Dhirendra Shastri to come and show the miracles he claims in his divine court and show them on their stage. If they do so, they will be given Rs 30 lakh but Shastri did not accept the challenge. In fact, as mentioned above, he returned two days ago, finishing the Katha. On this, a section of the people started claiming on social media that he ran away in fear. However, a lot of people are also writing in support of him. Pandit Dhirendra Shastri also accepted the challenge later.
The glory of Bageshwar Dham:-
It is claimed that many incurable diseases are cured by visiting Balaji in Bageshwar Dham. People come here to regarding jobs, marriage, business, and political future. Manoj Trivedi further said, "Guruji (Dhirendra Krishna Shastri) in Bageshwar Dham gets poor girls married every year. This year too, 121 girls are to be married on Maha Shivaratri. Guruji considers the girls as his sister and daughter. Guruji gives them everything that a father tries to give to his daughter. In the year 2021, 108 girls were married. It's happening again this year.'' According to Manoj Trivedi, this mass marriage has been going on for four years. According to him, Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri had taken a pledge for this in childhood. Now they are doing it every year. He further said "Guruji's life was full of deprivations. They were very poor. At the time of his sister's marriage, he did not have money. Then he resolved that if Balaji ever had mercy on him and he starts earning, he would get poor girls married. Guruji wants that no brother should have to do this as he was upset and sad about his sister's marriage. Therefore, he gets the girls married.''
Let us tell you that there is an office in Bageshwar Dham for the registration of marriages. According to the news received from Dham, 17 girls were married in 2019, 21 girls in 2020 and 2021, and 108 girls in 2022. Of the girls who got married in 2022, there were 12 who did not have a father. Married couples are provided with Ramcharitmanas as well as everything that is necessary to start a household. Along with this, Bhandara in Bageshwar Dham has been running continuously for three years. This is called Annapurna. Manoj Trivedi said, "Guruji does not want anyone coming to Dham to return hungry.
