Bitcoin's price is currently Rs 36.60 lakh, with a 42.19 percent market share. According to CoinMarketCap data, this represents a 0.09 percent fall from the previous day.
In a written reply to the Lok Sabha on March 28, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary stated that the government had commenced action against 11 cryptocurrency exchanges in India for tax evasions totaling Rs 81.54 crore. He went on to say that the total amount recovered from the exchanges, including interest and penalty charges, totaled Rs 95.86 crore.
