The worldwide cryptocurrency market has dropped 6.15 percent in the last 24 hours, with a market worth of USD2.49 trillion dollars. The worldwide crypto market's market volume, or the number of transactions completed in the last 24 hours, increased by over 14.82 percent.
On an intraday basis, the total volume in DeFi is currently 18.95 billion dollars, accounting for 12.74 percent of the total crypto market volume. During the same time period, total stable coin volume reached 114.40 billion dollars. On November 18, most crypto values plummeted, with Bitcoin sliding 6.68 percent to 56,788.86 dollars. Ethereum has also dropped 6.60 percent and is now trading at USD4,041. Solana has also dropped sharply by 11 percent and is now trading at about 195 dollars.
On the Indian front, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for cooperation between democratic nations to navigate cryptocurrency so that it is properly implemented and does not end up in the hands of unsociable groups, in his keynote speech at the Sydney Dialogue on November 18. Governor of the Reserve Bank of India Shaktikanta Das underlined his serious reservations about cryptocurrency, but added that the decade-old blockchain technology can still exist without it.
