New Delhi: Sensing the threat of terror on any auspicious occasion, the security forces remain vigilant. A question which comes repeatedly in the mind is how safe is Prime Minister Narendra Modi as terror and crime cases are increasing. Since the 2002 Gujarat riots, he is on the target of terrorists.

Modi's security is double that of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Whatever be the reason, one thing is certain that India ready to give a befitting reply to the enemies of the country. When Modi walks, commandos surround him to keep him safe in the security bubble. The BMW 7 car that PM Modi possesses is bulletproof. Two dummy cars accompany his convoy to fool the enemy.

For his protection, more than a thousand commandos are deployed in various circles. In the PM's convoy, the security staff of the Delhi Police is the first to move, which moves by buzzing sirens. SPG has two vehicles behind it. After this, two vehicles run from the right and left and Modi's car remains in the centre. The cars in Modi's convoy are properly investigated by the SPG. The convoy also has a jammer-equipped vehicle. This jammer has two antennas, which can deactivate the explosive placed 100 meters away on either side of the road. Along with the Gypsies of Delhi Police, an ambulance is also involved in the convoy all times. When the PM walks on foot, the NSG commandos walk in front of him. SPG commandos engaged in Modi's security have a weapon equipped with modern technology, which can fire 800 rounds in a minute.

The guards who accompany the PM wear special goggles so that they can keep an eye on the attackers without their notice. 500 SPG commandos are stationed at the PM's house located at 7 Racecourse. When the PM goes on a foreign tour, the Air Force is responsible for his safety. Two planes are ready before the PM reaches the airport. Before the plane takes off, the entire area is converted into a no-flying zone.
