World Health Day is celebrated every year on April 7 as the birthday of the World Health Organization. It is a special day in the days celebrated in the field of health. The Covid pandemic has similarly hindered the progress of the world, but the WHO is trying all the time to see how health services around the world are better and to create a balance.    

History of World Health Day: The WHO was established on April 7 in the year 1948, while the celebration of this day was started by the WHO in the year 1950. Since then, it has been celebrated as World Health Day all over the world. Since 1950, all the countries associated with the World Health Organization have been celebrating this day. As members join, World Health Day is also spread.  

Purpose of World Health Day: The whole objective of World Health Day is associated with the health systems of the world. The main objective of celebrating this day is to spread awareness about uniform health care facilities across the world, dispel all the myths related to health related matters and consider and work on the problems associated with global health.  

The World Health Organization's Functions: For the past 72 years, the World Health Organization has been working for the better health of the world. It establishes effective cooperation with the United Nations with specialized agencies, government health administrations, professional groups and other such organizations that are working in the field of health, to help strengthen health services at the request of governments, promote cooperation between such experts and professional groups, who contribute to the field of health progress.
