Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was last seen in the movie Lal Singh Chadha. Kareena Kapoor also appeared in the lead role with him in this movie. This movie flopped badly at the box office. After which it was reported that Aamir Khan has also taken a break from movies. However, earlier this year, a news went viral about Aamir Khan that Aamir Khan has decided to make a Hindi remake of a Hollywood movie named Champion. Aamir Khan wanted to cast Bollywood's Bhaijaan Salman Khan for this movie. But Salman refused to do this movie.

Reports say that Salman Khan loved Aamir Khan's script of Champions. However, due to short time, Bhaijaan has to leave the film. It is being told that Bhaijaan has left this movie due to date issue.  

Salman and Aamir had talks for champions and were going to shoot this movie from June. However, when Salman came to know that he had to shoot another movie in June, he kicked Aamir's offer . Now according to reports, Aamir Khan is also thinking of taking Ranbir Kapoor in this movie.
