Puja method of Kojagara Purnima Vrat - Take bath on this day and wear clean clothes and observe fast. After this, worship the idol of Lakshmi made of brass, silver, copper or gold by covering it with a cloth in the house temple or place of worship. Now after this, light a lamp of ghee in front of the covered statue of Mother. After this, invoke the mother with flowers in her hand and offer Panchamrit to the mother's statue and then pure water. After this, offer flowers, Ritufal and Naivedya to the mother and take her aarti.

Now prepare kheer made of milk in the evening and after this, if there is moonrise at night, light 11 lamps of ghee in the house. After this, place the Kheer under the sky in the light of the moon and after this, perform the aarti of Mata Lakshmi. Now at 12 o'clock in the night, first of all, offer Maa Lakshmi a kheer placed in the moonlight and distribute this kheer as a Prasad to all the people of the house. Simultaneously eat it yourself.
