New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) performed well against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 and the team also won best by 7 wickets, but skipper Dinesh Karthik's performance dismayed the phoenix. He failed to make the run, but a shameful record was made.

Dinesh Karthik returned to the pavilion at zero in the match and came to the first position in ipl in the case of zero out against Hyderabad. In the match against Hyderabad, Dinesh Karthik came to bating at the fourth and lbw out of Rashid Khan's ball without opening the account. He took only 3 balls in his innings. This was the fourth time in the IPL when he was out at zero against Hyderabad and he has now come to the first number in the case of returning to the pavilion at zero against the team. Earlier, the record was recorded by Ajinkya Rahane, who has been out on the zero three times against SRH.

With this, Dinesh Karthik has come on par with Kedar Jadhav and Rohit Sharma in the ipl against one team most often. Kedar Jadhav has lost his wicket at zero four times against Punjab in IPL so far. Dinesh Karthik has also now been out on a duck four times against Hyderabad.
