New mother Kratika Sengar shared a picture of breast feeding her newborn baby girl. Alongside the picture, Kratika wrote an empowering note about normalising breastfeeding.

Kratika wrote, “There is nothing better than time spent nourishing my baby. It is a deeply personal journey and not all days have been pleasant but I would not trade it for the world. Its empowering, its normal and its best for my little one. #normalisebreastfeeding #mealsonheels.”

Kratika embraced motherhood in May and this post earned appreciation from her industry friends and followers on social media. Kishwer Merchant, Nidhi Uttam, Vedika Bhandari and many others applauded her.

Nikitin and Kratika welcomed their daughter on May 12 and named her Devika. Early in July, Kratika counted her blessings as the birth of her baby girl made her birthday special. Back then, Kratika shared a post writing, ““Thankyou for making this birthday my most special one... My little one #hbdmommy #harharmahadev.”

Kratika and Nikitin first broke the news in November. Kratika had said, "Nikitin is on a cloud nine and I don't even know the number! He is very excited to become a father and I feel extremely blessed and grateful that I will become a mother soon." Speaking to a media person, Nikitin shared, “We are five boys in the house and my daughter Devika is the first girl. So, the family is even more excited and prepared to pamper her.”

On the personal front, Nikitin Dheer and Kratika Sengar Dheer had an arranged marriage on September 3, 2014. It was an arranged marriage, which was matched by Nikitin’s father.

The couple had tied the knot in 2014 and this is their first baby.
