Mathura: A local court in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district has ordered a survey of the Eidgah on the claim of the Hindu Sena in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah case, similar to the Gyanvapi case in Varanasi. The court listed the matter for further hearing on January 20. Amin has been directed to file a report in court before that.

The plaintiff's lawyer Shailesh Dubey said that on December 8, Delhi-based Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta and vice-president Surjit Singh Yadav made this claim in the court of Justice Sonika Verma of Civil Judge Senior Division (III). It states 13 of Shri Krishna's birthplace. The Eidgah was built by demolishing the temple by Aurangzeb on 37 acres of land. He presented the entire history of Lord Krishna's birth to the construction of the temple before the court. They have also demanded that the agreement signed between Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sangh vs Shahi Idgah in 1968 be canceled as illegal.

Shailesh Dubey has informed that the court has approved the plaintiff's petition for a hearing and ordered a survey by Amin and giving a report. The matter was earlier scheduled to be heard in the court on December 22, but it could not be done due to unavoidable reasons. However, now Amin will have to submit the Eidgah report to the court by January 20. Earlier, more than half a dozen plaintiffs had made the same demand in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division (First) Jyoti Singh, but no decision has been taken on those petitions so far.
