Kritika Kamra is a talented actress who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry through her impressive performances in TV shows, films, and web series. She began her career in 2009 with the serial 'Kitani Mohabbat Hai' and gained popularity for her role as 'Arohi'. Since then, she has established a unique identity in the industry.

Kritika's last fiction show for TV was 'Prem Ya Paheli - Chandrakanta'. She then transitioned to films and made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with 'Mitron'. However, few people know that she was initially supposed to debut with a different project. In an earlier interview, Kritika revealed that she was to debut with a Hindi remake of Mira Nair's 'Vanity Fair', starring Reese Witherspoon and Imran Hashmi.

In a recent conversation with News18 Shosh, Kritika shared that the film, directed by the maker of 'Meri Pyari Bindu', was shelved. She stated, "If that film had been made, it would have been my first film. It was the first film I signed. Akshay Roy was supposed to direct it. We did the readings and preparations, and all the schedules were charted. But then, for some reason, the film didn't happen."

Kritika expressed her disappointment, saying, "I was very disheartened. It was a time when I had left TV and was auditioning for films. Getting launched by Dharma was a big deal, and it still is. It was signed and sealed, and ready to go on the floor, and when it didn't happen, I was very upset. But looking back, I'm happy with how things turned out."

Kritika's film debut eventually happened with 'Mitron', and she has since appeared in other projects, including the web series 'Tandav' and 'Hush Hush'. Her journey in the entertainment industry has been marked by her talent, perseverance, and adaptability. Despite facing setbacks, Kritika continues to shine and has made a lasting impression on her fans.
