In a fierce attack on the BJP government on Wednesday, IT and Industry Minister K T Rama Rao said the economic and financial turmoil facing the country was decreasing with the central government. The Minister said the central government was trying to approach the Covid-19 epidemic to the current crisis. In fact, the economy has a responsibility to drive from slowdown to lockdown due to the lack of overall performance in the eight quarters before the epidemic in the country.

In an informal conversation with the media at Telangana Bhavan, Rama Rao said that the centre is the only reason for zero or negative GDP growth in the current financial crisis. "It is nothing but the irresponsible attitude of the central government to pass as god's law and release funds to states," he said.

Contrary to the Centre's policy to the situation, the TRS working president said the state government was not irresponsible for its farmers and people and pointed out the various initiatives it had taken despite the epidemic. He is confident that the people of the state will understand the present crisis if there is any delay in implementing the promises made by the state government.
