HYDERABAD K. T. Rama Rao, the working president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), has criticised the Narendra Modi government for what he called its "public relations exercise" during the evacuation of Indians from war-torn Ukraine.

Rama Rao took to Twitter on Friday to criticise the Centre for the public relations stunt. He shared a video in which Ajay Bhatt, the minister of state for defence, is heard telling students evacuated from Ukraine that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's grace saved their lives. KTR called this 'height of nonsense'.

"Modi Ji ki Krupa Se!!! Jeevan Bach Gaya Hai!!! Seriously, what an awful way to handle public relations with stressed-out students. KTR, the state minister for industries, information technology, municipal administration, and urban development, wrote, "Heights of stupidity."

Ajay Bhatt's contact with evacuees aboard an Indian Air Force (IAF) plane after it arrived at Hindan airbase near Delhi on Thursday was captured on camera. He's also heard encouraging evacuees to shout 'Modi ji zindabad'. "By the way, who is this Jeevan" jo Bach Gaya," continued the TRS leader, jokingly.
